This hotel has seen its best days. It’s tired and desperately in need of a refresh. The charming old work decor is tacky and out dated. The staff were so nice but often lack competence. E’g bringing room service but forgetting the cutlery. At these prices everything should be first class. The pool and garden are fabulous. A perfect oasis. There is nothing nearby to eat or go out. You’ll need a taxi. The food was also very disappointing. Very poor standard considering their target market.

This place is impeccable from the service to the food to the historical relevance and decor. Youssef the concierge was professional and accommodating (and patient!) from the first email and Imad in the Courtyard restaurant was as well. The shops on site are top notch and oooohhh the food!!!
