This hotel is a wonderful experience of a bygone era. I loved the old world feel as I stepped through the wooden entrance. The wood panelling was marvellous, along with historical photos which dotted the walls.
The rooms were large amd warm, beds super comfortable, and housekeeping regular.
Cleanliness: it was clean and fresh, but as a fussy cleaner- there were finger marks on the inside window and dust behind the bathroom door.
Front of house: this was my first time and staff did not sell it- I found out about the gym by wondering around, I wasn't told about breakfast, neither about the tours the hotel runs.
