A dissatisfied visit.
For the high recommendations to stay here, it was a truly disappointing stay. Only good part was hot tub, when kids weren't all over it. The food was just ok, the alcohol drinks were watered down, and the room was ok. The toilet was an after thought as it was half under the bathroom counter and right on edge of bathtub. We will not be back.

-line up was super long at eclipse (even with conference that needs to be managed better). -room conditions-patio definitely needs some love-paint chipping -for the price it was great -clean up property-clean up beach area to remove weeds/bushes and remove any construction materials that are left within eye sight of guests. -patio area-clean up patio stones and set up chairs and tables for people to sit on. -signage-better to have more than less. Outline activities to do and how to get there.

Dining options very limited, we could not get a dinner reservation because a convention was being held and these people received preferential treatment. Breakfast was okay but over priced.

The building we stayed in was dated and there was no hot water and barely an apology. Only 1 restaurant, the Compass, was open during our stay and they seemed surprised that we wanted to eat dinner.

Restful getaway
A lovely location in a peaceful lakeside setting. The room was spacious however we were disappointed that they do not offer housekeeping service each day. They only bring you what you need if you call them. For this type of resort I find that unacceptable especially considering how much some of they accommodations cost. Some advice... bring your own pillows if possible. The ones they have are too big and thick. The restaurant in the main building is great. Had a nice buffet breakfast there. Lots of activities available and the resort has many nature trails within close proximity including Algonquin Park, about 30 minutes away.

4/10 Fair

I have been here in last year. Rooms seem tired. Hard to navigate in the dark. Room smelled musty. Cupboard door did not open on one side and then fell off the rails. Bathtub plug could not hold a bath. Beds were nicely made and clean. Expensive for the value.
