Palermo has gained a place in my top 3 favourite cities... it's historic, it's vibrant, it's inexpensive and it has cannoli! So many things worth seeing and you could eat in a different restaurant every day and not have visited them all after a year!

Don't skip Palermo as some people may suggest. It's beautiful, with a lot of history and architecture. You should spend at least a couple of days in Palermo. I only spent two days and it was not enough!

It is full of life with some very good restaurants. Everything is hectic, especially the traffic, but it all seems to work. A must is a visit to the Ballaro food market.

Palermo is noisy, congested, and a bit unkept. It is an old city, but I guess, this is part of the charm of visiting here. Lots of history, food very good.

Unique old city of Palermo. History and so many buildings which have so much history and art just in their construction. Wonderful place to visit

Palermo is like an old maiden, who used to be beautiful. She is still glamorous sometimes, but the beauty is mostly faded, rundown and neglected. The true magic here is the food which is one of the BEST EVER especially the sweet treats and cakes.

Many things to do and see...churches, markets, historical areas. Plenty of shopping, restaurants, activities. Very pretty and interesting plus you're close to other beach and mountain towns to venture out of the city.
"We had such a great stay here. The room was so stylish and comfortable, and the staff were so helpful in showing us how to get around Palermo. Everywhere we wanted to go was in 20-30 mins walking distance which was perfect.
Thanks to Fillipo who got in touch before our stay via WhatsApp and book us transport from the airport which was super helpful. "
