Needs more rugs
We love the Airlie however there is one serious need. Every room is entirely hardwood flooring and no carpets, rugs, or throw rugs of any kind. If it rains then water gets everywhere and theres nowhere to put your shoes. Puddles everywhere. If there's snow like it did this week then there are puddles from your luggage, puddles from your shoes, and wet socks.

The nature that surrounds the property is beautiful as well as the gardens and the pond. However, the hotel infrastructure could be improved.

Beautiful grounds. The room was very small, bed was terrible, small shower, maid came in room when do not disturb was on door and parking was inadequate. I will not stay there again.

Magical Property
A great location! The grounds were stunning and the accommodation buildings charming. My only disappointment was the showers and the poor shape it was in. The room was very small, but equally as charming as the building itself. that said… I will definitely be back.

Not our first time here. Aerlie is like a little oasis. Gorgeous grounds, so quiet and peaceful. Staff is great; very helpful.

Property is nice surrounded by beautiful nature but we had a few issues. Keurig machine had a nasty film where water is supposed to go and on our check out day, housekeeping knocked the door at 8am with a do not disturb hanging out. Also, lots pf loud mechanical noises during the night.

Like staying on a private estate
The expansive grounds set this lodging apart As we were there in early Spring it was especially lovely. Multiple ponds. Lots of outdoor seating areas.

The Airlie is setting is in the bucolic countryside and the grounds are very well kept. However, the lodge, where our room was located, was one step up from a Motel 6. Thin walls meant you could hear every whining kid, sneeze and door slam made throughout the building. The beds were lumpy and housekeeping was “on demand” but somehow that was not conveyed to us, so no fresh towels for three days. The restaurant in the main building was one step above a greasy spoon and service about as Ho-hum as the meal. I even had to track down antacids to keep the gremlins at bay. I don’t think I’ll go back unless they either up their game or drop their prices substantially.

An experience not just a hotel stay
What an amazing place. Wish we had been staying longer. Went outside after dinner with the provided lantern to walk around and star gaze. Felt like I was in the “Dirty Dancing” movie based on the property layout.
