Nice hotel, but my room has never been cleaned
The room is very nice and beautiful. But my only question is: why I spent 4 nights in that hotel and nobody ever came to clean the room? The rubbish bin remained with stuffs that I put there without being removed. The dust started to form on the floor because of 4 consecutive nights without cleaning. Anyway, the reason could be also because I use to sleep until midday and they just skip my room instead of knocking on my door to tell me that they need to clean it and make the bed.

Great location, but tiny room
Amazing location with Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps only few mins away, in fact almost all the sights are within 30 mins walk from the hotel. Unfortunately, our room (economy double) was very small, the bathroom also was tiny, which wasn’t very comfortable. There was no kettle in the room, but the guys at the reception are very helpful and can get you a cup of hot water/tea if you ask. Breakfast was very basic. Would stay again if it was just for 1-2 nights

Poor 2.0
Damp. Unbearable.
The room had an overwhelming smell of damp from the moment we walked in. We asked to change room immediately and were told there were no more rooms, even though we checked and could see rooms were still available for sale online. The air conditioning unit was dirty/mouldy and made the smell worse. The bathroom was nearly unbearable to be in with the smell. We left the hotel after one night, losing two nights payment, and have reported it to hotels.com - still waiting for the hotel to respond to them. That was the big issue which made us leave the hotel - there were other smaller faults which are worth mentioning. There was only one staff member who did not investigate when we raised issues about our room. The light fittings were hanging on live conductors from the bathroom ceiling. It was impossible to sit properly on the toilet as it was so close to the sink. The hotel is on the second floor, but our hotel room was then down a very narrow staircase (with a ceiling even I had to crouch under and I'm only 5 ft 3) back to the first floor - there is no integrated fire alarm system I could see, nor was there a fire escape we could have used. We had ants behind the desk. There is a lift, but regardless of your room there are still stairs (but this is common in Italy). We had 30 steps in total to our room which were not avoidable. I included photos with my review.
