Great location with amazing views. The parts of the hotel that have recently been refurbished look great. Some areas seem a little tired, but you can tell that they are refurbishing throughout. The pool area is beautiful but bear in mind that there are a lot of steps to get down to it.

No dinner available. 185 steps from swimming pool up to hotel. Lovely area at pool but too far away. Beds narrow and not very comfortable. Great location. Near bus station.

The hotel is in an amazing location, with great views from the pool area over Isola Bella and from the rooms (if you are lucky enough to have unrestricted windows). Amenities are rather basic, we stayed for two nights and on both occasions the breakfast ran out (we did notice some other guests that arrived later, like 9ish, complaining to the staff) so definitely arrive nice and early for breakfast! The rooms most definitely need some redecoration to bring them to the modern era. The breakfast and house keeping staff were extremely friendly, polite and attentive wherever possible.

Beautiful view and enjoyed the pool. The hotel offers a great breakfast. The rooms are outdated and the shower is very small. Check in is very late. Otherwise, enjoyed our stay.

Tired looking needs modernised
The hotel has two redeeming features location is one near to town, bus and cable car, and the newly renovated terrace and pool. But it’s not a four star hotel in other areas the rooms are dated and need updating our shower door kept falling off and soaking the floor and to clean yourself properly you had to keep turning shower off as cubicle too small, tiles cracked and grout dirty. Breakfast was ok if you wanted to eat cakes and pastries, the hot section which consisted of hard scrambled eggs and undercooked bacon was not appetising. The staff were mainly very pleasant but higher management ignorant. So no more than 3 stars at that

Great location, across the street from the bus station and a block from the furnaculor that takes you down to the beach. Hotel was very quiet, large rooms and wonderful view from the balcony in the room.

I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel, it was sad to leave. The view from the sea view rooms is stunning. The hotel itself has old school Italian charm so expect the rooms to be dated but very clean. The only flaw I had was my shower head fixture was broken. The recently refurbished pool is modern and spacious, I never had an issue getting a sunbed. The staff were so helpful and friendly, I hope to be back someday soon!

Great place for few days. Location is brilliant. Hotel staff very friendly. Hotel decent and pool not in use due to pool area works/renovation. and that made us go to the beach, which is good and walkable by steps and took cable car back. We had cheapest room. But due to the water spillage of gardener on balcony we've got upgraded to the larger room and that was brilliant. Spectacular views, spacious and classic quality furniture. Hotel needs some upgrades, but still decent. they seem to be renovating and may have suffered from Covid challenges. It takes time and of course paying customers. Many feedbacks I read are bit harch and unfair. Give them a chance! If in the larger room you will get spectacular views. Thanks

Booked property months in advance for a July stay. At the time of booking, the website stated that the pool was going to be unavailable in May and June. Unfortunately when we checked in we were informed that the pool was still being renovated (and by the looks of it it is still very far from being ready...). Property offers beautiful ocean views and staff is very kind, but it's in dire need of a remodeling.
