The hotel itself was funky and fun - really delivered from a design perspective and the beds in the room were comfy. With that said, service left a lot to be desired. While we opted not to have our rooms cleaned daily, when we asked for things like an iron or fresh towels to be brought to our room, we were told to come downstairs. When I asked to have towels brought to my room as I was leaving the hotel for dinner, I was told to get the towels when I returned and bring them to my room myself. While I’d expect this level of service from a motel, I would not expect this from a 3+ star hotel at this price point. On top of this, it seemed the front desk was regularly understaffed as there was regularly a line to get help, checking-in, etc. which made getting things like towels a challenge.
