I'll be back when I'm not recovering from surgery
I loved the property because of the range of fun amenities. There were a lot of people having al ot of fun from families to couples to small groups. I was solo bc I went to Cabo to get dental implants. For recovering from surgery, it was a bit much but I will definitely come back when I am in better shape. Very friendly and helpful staff and all the guests seemed to be very happy to be there.

Bad experience due to front desk staff
Our experience at Riu Santa Fe was incredibly disappointing, largely due to the misleading and frustrating behavior of Fernanda at check-in. We paid in full when we arrived, only to be hounded with calls two days later, demanding an additional $350. Despite our explanations, the staff continued to call our room, disrupting our stay and ruining our vacation. We ultimately decided to cut our trip short and check out. As visitors from Minneapolis, USA, we had numerous vacation options and regret choosing Riu Santa Fe. After working hard to treat my family to a memorable vacation, this experience left us with nothing but frustration.

Bien con áreas de mejora
En general el hotel es muy bonito, la comida deliciosa en todos sus hoteles. Las albercas grandes con muchos camastros. La atención buena. Pero si tienen zonas de mejora. Si estás en las albercas no hay baños cerca, tienes que caminar mucho hasta los próximos baños. La limpieza en el área de camastros, los platos no se recogen, y ocasionan tener moscas alrededor. Hay demasiadas moscas en el buffet de desayuno, no paramos de espantarla mientras desayunamos. Y nos tocó una cucaracha en una silla también. Y lo peor de todo, que permitan a gente tener bocinas con su música en las albercas, se me hizo de muy mal gusto, además de que la música que ponían eran puros corridos y con malas palabras en la alberca que es familiar. En un punto llegué a tener una bocina enfrente y otra más alta atrás, de muy mal gusto, siendo un hotel “5 estrellas” Fuera de eso, todo bien. Los shows son los mejores que he visto en un todo incluido.

I was very happy with my stay at Riu Santa Fe. The staff were helpful and friendly and our room was great. The only thing that I think Riu can do better is the announcement of their activities. There are some of us who like to be active while on vacation and I did not see any postings of daily activities, like beach volleyball, etc on the property.
