Retired couple vacation
This was a nice place to stay for location and bed was comfortable. The fellow who did our breakfasts went above and beyond for us since we had to leave earlier than breakfast our second day. We shared a balcony on the 2nd floor with 2 other rooms which was nice to converse with other people, except the owner below us sat out and smoked us out continuously. A resident cat roams the inside along with her 'service dog', and the rooms are all left open. Not good for allergy sufferers such as my husband.

6/10 Good

The caretaker David was wonderful, but it is evident that the facility is in need of major renovations. The breakfast was good but 9am is much too late for my husband and I, we felt like we were wasting our morning sticking around until 9am for breakfast. Though the location was good, we would not recommend this place unless renovations had been done.

2/10 Poor

worst ever
We did not get the room we booked, the bed had red stains, the air conditioner was broken, the screen on window off, the vent in bathroom didn't work, the cook wore dirty socks and had dirty had while serving food, the "king" bed was 2 twins pushed together, there were spiders crawling everywhere, the garbage in kitchen was overflowing, the "beautiful" grounds had people camping on them and using the kitchen and bathroom, it's was absolutely terrible and should be shut down for health and safety.

Beautiful
This was a wonderful Inn. Right on 151 and super close to all of the breweries/cideries/wineries you could possibly want. Also very close to different trail heads or a short drive from more train heads further up the mountain. The room was perfect for a quaint stay. The view from the front porch was beautiful and the staff were all very friendly. Would recommend to anyone wanting a weekend away.

8/10 Very good

It was our first time ever using a B&B, so we don't have a frame of reference for other B&B's. It was definitely better than staying in a boring chain hotel room. The Staff is very friendly and inviting. Breakfast was the only real downside to the stay. Choices were very limited. I believe much of it was reheated in a microwave, muffins were clearly store-bought and heated up before serving, food was over-spiced or over-salted, and no other food service was offered at anytime of day or night. Probably better off going down the road a few minutes to the bakery (there are virtually no chain restaurants in the area). The property is ok, with room to roam, and the house itself is pretty nice for a 180-year old structure. There are SO many fun things to do in a very short driving range if you like hiking, wineries, breweries, scenic overlooks and, of course, skiing in the winter. The whole area is gorgeous!

Must Love Animals
Overall, great stay with a beautiful view, friendly staff and easy access to surrounding area. Breakfast was also great and very sweet that they have cookies available throughout the day to snack on. I didn't realize how many animals they had at the inn. Not a huge fan of cats, and there was one that kept trying to get into my room. There was also a very loud parrot, that woke me up several times.

6/10 Good

Very comfy bed. and wonderful breakfast! It's a real shame they won't open the restaurant for dinner unless you have a party of at least six people. Extremely irritating slamming screen door late at night and early in the morning and screaming pet bird during early morning as well. Many things around this beautiful old building need tending to but it just isn't happening. This Inn could be superb with a little more effort. Also, NEEDS some lighting in the parking area which is surrounded by bushes and trees and at the end of the drive.

Not a bed and breakfast...
Just beware this is NOT a bed and breakfast; it's a bed and continental breakfast in a styrofoam container that guests pick up from the fridge. Very disappointing. I was so looking forward to staying here.So disappointed... Hope others have a better experience.
