This place was great! It's two blocks away from Khao San Road, which is one of the party hubs of Bangkok. Yet this street is quiet and you can easily sleep here in peace. The staff were wonderful, going above and beyond for me time and time again.

Don’t do it
How on earth has this place got so many good reviews? Non stop music from the hostel next door till 2am. Paper thin walls can hear everyone. Early morning housekeeping banging and clanging. Weed smell around hotel. Very dark rooms no full length mirror. Might be well designed but it’s impractical and the rooms are very small. General attitude was of an unwelcoming nature. Three nights of interrupted sleep. Never again. What a joke

Nice clean room, and the restaurant on the first floor had really good food. There was a lot of noise at night from music on the rooftop bar (or at least very closeby). Located very close to some good tourist spots.

This hotel was in a perfect location for us, walking distance to khao san road and markets. It’s also very clean and cozy. Gus at reception was very kind and always had a smile on his face especially when helping us check in at 3am.

This is a nice place to stay. The hotel is dark themed, the rooms are darkish hence "Ember Hotel". We stayed in a luxury room so i can only speak from that stand point. The room was quiet, clean and the bed was super comfy. Everything needed from coffee to a toothbrush was provided in the room. The hotel is modern and updated with a nice restaurant. The central AC worked well, always felt good coming back to the room after a hot afternoon sight seeing. Shopping, night life and many restaurants 5 minute walk from hotel. Hotel is very quiet considering Khaosan road nightlife is 2 streets away. The staff is excellent, knowledgeable, friendly and will do everything thay can to accommodate your request. Without a doubt I would stay here again.

Nicest Place to Stay Near Khaosan Road
We loved our stay here. Very conveniently located near Khaosan Road, but far enough away that it is in a quiet area. The rooms are comfortable, spacious and nicely decorated. The staff is so friendly and eager to help if you need. The Wifi worked great. The only negative we could find is that the breakfast options could be improved.
