Recharged weekend
Beautiful location. Our room had no WiFi connection but hotel was able to move us to different room with better signal. Truly appreciate that service. Came here with kids and they enjoyed the board games and walking around the hotel grounds. Wished we were able to use the gym. On site dining had good food, especially liked the lavender butter w/bread, and pineapple sorbet.

Great experience, beautiful property, wish they had non-tesla charging stations for electric cars that are not Tesla. The restaurant food was a little overpriced for what it was. Other than that, had a great stay, highly recommend.

A beautiful place with the bed facing the ocean.
A perfect romantic retreat with restaurant and bar on the property. The staff is exceptionally friendly and fun. A modern rustic lodge vibe with a big stone fireplace lounge area, firepits outside, games, and hiking trails.

Offseason Stay
Room was comfortable and clean. Restaurant, only thing close, ran out of most seafood items and some beer; limited selection. What was ordered was good but alternatives that were unavailable were preferred. Pricing was excessive for the experience; worth 70% of cost.

Unexpectedly beautiful property - an amazing property for families. On the Sonoma Coast / Mendocino Coast there are so few places for families - this is an excellent gem.

Special
Place was truly incredible. Worth every penny. I wish we could have stayed longer. Amazing views, friendly staff, wonderful amenities (the walking paths and pacific does most of the heavy lifting). It was truly special.

Lousy standard room
My stay started off badly with a small "standard" room with spiral staircase and I booked a Timber Cove room. Hotels.com choices did not show a small standard room with tiny loft. I requested an upgrade or different room. I am VIP but nothing offered, and their website said they had rooms available. My next tiny standard room overlooked the roof and had a mattress on the floor and also a problem with the door lock. The Manager did not apologize or offer a free breakfast or a room upgrade. Based on the room this is a 1 start but the grounds, hiking, views made it a medium score. I paid a lot of money for a crap room. Hotels.com should adjust their Timber Cove photos accordingly.

I really love this place. The GM (name escapes me) sets the tone. Staff is great. Friendly and professional.
I wish they had a pool and/or hot tub and stairs down to a beach.
It’s tough, rocky, beautiful shoreline. Just a gorgeous property.

Gorgeous hotel with great restaurant
Finally had the opportunity to stay at this absolutely stunning property. Well-appointed, thoughtful rooms. Gorgeous main space and excellent bar and restaurant. Fire pits and seating scattered about to have private time or encourage conversation, as desired.
Waves crashing, seals barking, California coast dream.
Room directly above the fire pit was not quite as private as it could have been, but was still lovely.
I have a big bruise from knocking my arm into the loop for the "do not disturb" sign outside the door. :(
