Location is perfect! Lobby needs an update! Our room was large with a very large bathroom. Breakfast (extra charge) was okay at best…other hotels do it much better. Extremely limited onsite free parking (3or 4 spots but nearby parking which is a bit of a walk was 3 euros for the night. Overall, I would stay here again.

This hotel is right in theiddle of the old city centre so you can walk every where. We had a corner room with a sitting area, comfortable bed and two large windows that we opened for views and a wonderful breeze way through our room. No need for air conditioning! The staff was wonderful and welcoming, the hotel is charming, the breakfast was a little lacking. We came down at 9:00, breakfast is served until 10:00, and all the tables were occupied or dirty and breakfast items were no restocked so choices were limited. Besides breakfast, everything was wonderful!!

Great staff front of house. Room adequate but spacious as we chose an update. In great need of refurbishing. Bathroom facilities a bit fragile. Fresh towels provided daily although not needed. Toiletries not provided daily although needed and they were on plastic bottles. Kettle could do with being replaced. Tea/ coffee randomly supplied and had to ask for milk which staff happily provided. Great location and reasonable value for money although definitely not a four star hotel.

It seemed a surprise to the receptionist that we had booked a room. He eventually found the booking but then tried to get us to accept a queen size bed instead of two singles. He turned up to split up the bed, leaving us with a very large duvet swamping each bed. The room was tatty with a noisy antiquated wardrobe, some stained and flaky paintwork, mouldy shower sealant and bedside furniture that had seen better days and was also stained. The room was dull and dismal, in the basement along with the laundry room and not what we had expected from a 'superior' bedroom in a four star hotel.
