I'll start with the good news, the lovely lady at check in upgraded us to a suite, which was very much appreciated! She was great. We went down for our first breakfast the next morning, which was included in our stay and things went downhill. We walked into the restaurant, looked around, there was no one to seat us, but also no sign saying "wait to be seated", so we walked in and sat ourselves. We chose a table that was freshly set with no sign that is was already taken. We went and got food and coffee and started eating. Then a woman walked up, looking very annoyed and started talking to us. She spoke German, we did not. Eventually a man came over and informed us that we were at her table. We tried to explain that we didn't know that is was taken, no sign or person at the door...he spoke over us and told us we needed to wait to be seated and that he is always at the doors to greet/seat people and then walked away. He was quite rude, didn't give us a moment to explain or apologize for the misunderstanding. Seems to be an issue though, we stayed 3 nights, and every morning we watched similar things happen with people seating themselves. A sign at the door would be super helpful! We only had breakfast there, and it was just okay, nothing great.
Also the lobby always has a bad smell.
