Not what I expected from this well known resort
We just had an overnight stay in this all inclusive hotel due to the President closing most hotels the following day due to coronavirus. We had a ‘bungalow’ room on the ground floor, facing the sea with a lovely view. The location was great – right on a narrow strip of golden sand with a beautiful turquoise sea. The pool area was attractive. The bars served cocktails made from pre-mixed ‘syrups’ dispensed from slushpuppy-type machines & were not good. Maybe this is normal (I’ve never stayed at an all inclusive before). As with many hotels in Cuba, this one is tired. Breakfast eggs & lunch/dinner meats were cooked in front of you. Please note that my review is for a hotel about to close.

Auf meiner Kuba-Rundreise war dies das erste Hotel, nachdem ich vorher ausschließlich in casas particulares gewohnt habe. Im ersten Moment war ich von der Ausstattung des Superior-Zimmers enttäuscht und auch die Freundlichkeit und Aufmerksamkeit des Personals lies mE zu wünschen übrig. Wenn ich aber ganz ehrlich, muss man die Ausstattung im Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis sehen und dann kann man sich nicht beschweren. Die Freundlichkeit und die Aufmerksamkeit erhöht sich sehr schnell, wenn man ein kleines Trinkgeld gibt. Auch hier muss man wissen, die Leute verdienen wenig und sind auf Trinkgelder angewiesen, das sollte man bei einem all inclusive Hotel berücksichtigen. Insofern habe ich 4 schöne Tage verlebt mit dieser Einstellung

Struttura sul mare. Non recente. In discrete condizioni. Buona colazione, pranzo e cena. Variegato e di buona qualità. Premetto che ero in all inclusive e che era compreso al primo giorno il mini bar. Mi spiace che ho dovuto segnalare 5 volte che il frigo era vuoto. Finalmente dopo 3 giorni praticamente il giorno prima di partire, si sono preoccupati di riempire il mini bar. Per il resto siamo stati assisiti da una Signora gentilissima e simpaticissima di nome Lissel sempre per conto di Iberostar. Un bel 10 solo per la sua disponibilità.

Sanitäre Gruselhölle und Investruine
Ein grausames Hotel mit unglaublichem Investitionsbedarf. Wir haben eine Suite gebucht und auch tatsächlich eine bekommen, jedoch war der Zustand erschreckend. Schon auf dem Weg dahin lief das Wasser im Flur von der Decke (an vielen Stellen gleichzeitig), die Wände waren nass und waren sehr sehr oft überstrichen. In der sehr großzügigen Suite waren dann die Fenster defekt, die Klimaanlage mit riesigen Schimmelflecken bedeckt, das Mobiliar reif für den Müll, usw... Auf Nachfrage gab es dann an der Rezeption ein anderes Zimmer, leider vom Zustand nur unwesentlich besser. Zum Glück haben wir nur eine Nacht gebucht und sind dann "geflohen".

It was so dated and literally not one bit of maintenance had been done on the property. We tried to use the tennis courts and the rackets had bandages as grips. The towels were soiled. The whole place was covered in mould. It was grotty and disgusting.

En el Hotel donde supuestamente es Todo incluido no es cierto hay varios productos no incluidos (bebidas). Se podía almorzar solo en mesa buffet y los restaurante de especialidades no servían en el Italiano nose porque le dieron ese nombre si no había nada italiano ni pastas ni pizzas , nada de italiano

Maravilhoso!
Foi maravilhoso, fiquei hospedadas duas vezes no Bella Costa e quando voltar para Varadero certamente ficarei nele novamente. A praia do hotel é linda, quartos grandes e limpos, comida e bebida ótimas e o staff é excelente.
