Montréal is one of our favorite cities! We often stay in Old Montréal because it has so much to offer: restaurants, shops, the river front, beautiful architecture etc. It's very walkable and the subway is very efficient. But we venture out as well.

Many unique art exhibits to enjoy -- remember that many museums are closed Mondays and open late on Wednesdays. Dining options are many. Do try out La Grande Roue (the huge Ferris wheel at the Old Port. TOO much construction downtown & Old Montréal).

A big city with lots to do. We loved the food scene - trying local and ethnic foods, seeing the city. There are many museums and tours that can be taken in this city. We did most everything on our own except the Hop on Hop Off bus to get an overview.

Montreal is a treasure. The food, the flair, the people, are all something to be celebrated. If you have been, then you know. If you haven't been, GO ! Try addressing people in French. Even if it's just to say "Hello". As ye reap, so shall ye sow".

Cafe SoLIT is a wonderful cafe just down the street on Mansfield, with vines, branches and hanging oranges from the ceiling and lanterns. This is a great location, shops cafes and metro. Must go to Mile End, the artistic part of town full of charm.

This was our first time to Montréal. Loved it. We'd gone to Canada to chase snow spending a few nights west of the City snow tubing and dog sledding. Then 2 nights in the City. Highly recommend the Notre-Dame Basilica and Rue Saint-Paul E Street

Montreal is my favorite city. I love the feel, the food, the people. Don't be intimidated by the French signs (and speakers) and occasionally crumbly roads -- take the Metro, enjoy a bagel, and take a trip to the top of Mont Royal to take it in.

We were there and it was -6 outside. People were still walking and it was a vibe!! We braved the cold to shop and just be in the mix. It's like being in Europe again when it comes to quality of food (seriously, the food in the area is yummy).

Gorgeous architecture and lots of interesting galleries/shops/restaurants to discover. Walk along the port was beautiful and would probably be hopping in warmer weather. Mount Royal is worth the trek: drive part way to get the best views.

Beautiful city with amazing old architecture that you don't see elsewhere in Canada. Lots of art galleries. Lots of statues and other art throughout the city. We went to the biodome, space centre, basilica (Aura show) and played nerf.
"The service was impeccable , each staff member was eager to please and certain we enjoyed our stay
. Bathroom could use some updating but it’s an older hotel , but it was clean and well maintained "
"Me and my kids went to the F1 race. The hotel was close to everything. Like the subway to the race and a short walk to the main strip. It’s was a great weekend "
