Just a cute little place. The bed, bedding, and pillows were all excellent. Room was good sized with a tv and small fridge. Had a private bathroom. Coffee was great. Free breakfast was great too. Great location about 0.5 miles from the ferry and Duval Street.

Receptionist was very friendly. We had to leave the hotel before breakfast, and the staff gave us our breakfast items when we checked in. The room is very clean, but we wish that they would use cleansers without the strong smell. One blind didn't close well,so we felt that we didn't have much privacy. Area is quiet, but convenience enough. Hotel only has two parking space, but there are plenty free street parking.

Stay was awesome! Staff were very friendly and accomodating. Took extra time with us to explain key west and benefits of the property. Reasonably priced and fresh breakfast. I recently stayed at the Authors of Key West Guest House and had a memorable experience overall. While my room was quite tiny, it wasn't cozy but had everything I needed for my stay. One of the highlights was the fantastic swimming pool—it was a great spot to relax and cool off after a day of exploring. Being on the ground floor did present some challenges, though. The area tended to stay a bit damp, which made it hard for things to dry out completely. On a positive note, the included breakfast was a standout feature. It was nutritious and offered a wide selection, which made for a satisfying start to each day. The staff truly made my stay special. They were phenomenal and attentive, always ready to assist with a smile. Their hospitality made a significant difference in my experience. Overall, despite the small room size and a few minor issues, the combination of the lovely pool, great breakfast, and exceptional staff made for a delightful stay!

We had a fantastic four nights here. When we arrived we had a courtesy room upgrade which we really appreciated. The place was fantastic as were the staff nothing was too much trouble. The location is about 15 mins walk to duval street as is the historic harbour area. Will definitely books again

We enjoyed the staff and fellow guests at this place. The room was well-appointed. It's a fair walking location to town. Be prepared to search out parking for your vehicle, however, as their spaces are very limited. Overall, we appreciated our stay at Author's Key West.

It was a great room and setting, the colors were Key West, CLEAN, a ceiling fan and a full sitting balcony. A super helpful staff, nice bed & breakfast with outside tables and a small pool with jets:) the street parking was fine:)
