After 6 hours of flights we arrived at midnight to find the front doors locked and a line with about a dozen people. Turns out after 10pm the main office is closed and customer relations are handled through a side window like a drive in restaurant. We couldn’t understand why there were so many people in line. Turns out half of them had already checked in, but were given terrible, uncleaned rooms. The couple ahead of us were on their third room of the night! Two guys checked out, then warned everyone in line not to stay here. The poor man staffing the front had to keep leaving to make sure the rooms he was offering were clean!
After nearly an hour of standing in line in the misty rain we eventually got to the window. The man at the front desk was excited, saying our room was one of the few he knew were cleaned. By then our hopes were low.
When we got to our room it was missing several standard amenities. No hand soap, no body wash, and no hand towels. There was an empty paper towel dispenser. The bed was clean enough. There was an odd stain on the fitted sheet, so we simply slept on top of the bed sheet.
Terrible experience. The housekeeping team really fell through.
