1926 Le Soleil Hotel & SPA
"Excellent location and lovely hotel. All you need for a chilled week away with great access to local bars and restaurants"
Barceló Fortina Malta
"The hotel is located on a very busy main strip that's close to the bay, night life bars and restaurants. The area is surrounded by pretty people from all over the world and it gets very crowded. There's a couple of supermarkets nearby for groceries. We booked the half sea view and it was gorgeous. The pool is shallow about waist deep only while main pool is about chest level. You would need reservations for a sunbed booked in advanced. Cons-Not quite the hotel's fault, but the design of the shower door is only covering half the tub so water is sprinkled all over the floor when you take a shower. I just get a bunch of pool towels from downstairs and use it to soak up the water. Also, they have extremely loud music playing from across the other island of Valetta that you can hear the thumping loud music (not hotel's fault) and this music plays well into 3-4AM. Even with the balcony doors shut, you can feel the vibration of the music permeating through the glass. Overall, it's a good solid stay if you can drown out the loud music from the other side of the island and get a bunch of pool towels to soak up shower water spilling over."

Sliema Marina Hotel
"Lovely hotel, in an excellent area, for ease of travel. Hotel staff very helpful and the breakfast was good. Rooms are also good and big but somewhat ageing in some places. All rooms had air con so sleep was good. Overall very satisfied with the hotel and would definitely use again and would highly recommend to everyone."

For those keen on immersing themselves in the rich landmarks, history, and culture of the area, including delightful shopping, dining, and charming cafes, a stay of at least 4 to 5 days is recommended. This period offers great value for money as prices could drop, making it an affordable option to explore key attractions such as family-friendly spots, romantic sea views, and a blend of business and leisure opportunities.
- Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: You may discover attractive hotel deals in Sliema by exploring the DealsOpens in a new window section on Hotels.com. For those seeking last-minute options, the Last-Minute Deals area could offer discounted rates on hotels near your arrival date. Additionally, you’re more likely to see price drops and room availability updates if you enable email alerts or push notifications. The Smart Shopping tool available via the app allows travellers to compare hotel prices and amenities, ensuring you remain informed about the best hotel deals.
- Be flexible with dates: Prices may fluctuate depending on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year, so being flexible with your travel dates could assist you in finding a better rate for your stay in a Sliema hotel. For those in search of distinctive accommodations, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised experience and may offer better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we will inform you whether the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price is relatively high, we may suggest alternative dates that could be more affordable, helping you to potentially find a more favourable deal.
- Consider your location: Hotels situated near the city centre usually tend to be pricier, but with Sliema's superb public transport connections, you may discover a more affordable independent hotel located further afield that remains well-connected. For those keen to venture into alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there is often excellent value for money to be found. Opting for these alternative destinations could provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
