It could be cleaner, the decor needs tidying up and the bed sheets were worn and in need of repair. Nice location and the staff were lovely.

Ok budget hotel, clean and warm, 10 min walk from the central market. A direct bus from the train station is available. a good option to stay near the city center.

For the money, I was very impressed with the quality. Had a decently tidy and clean room with a few minor issues (like a small bit of mold in the far corner or occasional dust in hidden spaces). Had a private bathroom with functional facilities although hot water was very slow at times but works with a bit of patience. Even had basic kitchen equipment like a fridge which was unexpected, sink, kettle and microwave, lots of storage (which could be used as a wardrobe or extra storage), but no oven or stovetop. The bed was comfortable and the sheets seemed clean. Check in and check out was easy, lady was very friendly. A few tips of improvement would be to remove any traces of mold even if minor, allow window to stay open (we couldn’t figure it out) and to fix the hot water taking forever. For the price of ~£50 a night (cheaper with a blue light card discount), overall impressed.

Very good parking facilities. Make sure you tell them your registration number, so they can register it. Staff were lovely. Very short walk to the town. It’s a slightly different type of hotel room. It has a sink/microwave/fridge in the room. I think they might cater for people who travel for work. The bed was comfortable. Bathroom was a decent size. Problem with no hot water this morning. Bearing in mind the parking and proximity to the town, we would definitely use the hotel again.

Very good location for walking into the city centre. Plantation gardens next to the hotel definitely worth a visit.
Friendly reception staff.
Small double was small and basic but was clean, had a good sized shower, comfortable bed and sink, fridge and microwave. ( no freezer compartment) . Also mugs, bowls and cups for 2.
Was v hot but there was a fan provided.
Only mirror was in the bathroom.
Biggest problem was the safety light shining green all night in the direct eyeline of the bed. . If you prefer a dark room then this could be an issue. Such a shame as this would put me off returning to this hotel.

Was not a good deal at price
We where staying for one night. Arrived after finding hotel as it had nothing out side to say that was the hotel.
Chap came out to say they were waiting for Name to go up.
Room very clean, had no chairs or wardrobes. Bedding
was immaculate and we had a good night sleep
Good for one night but would not stay longer.
Left around 9.30 next day.No staff around.

The hotel recently changed name. So on arrival was confused regarding location.
There is no housekeeping unless asked for. However the information sheet states normally done every 3 days. I had to question this as room not serviced in 3 days. Receptionist stated i have to ask for housekeeping.

Stayed here for one night, and glad it wasn’t any longer. No amenities (besides a dozen coffee sachets) and the shower was covered in scum. The room itself was a glorified conservatory and let in all the noise from the car park. The room wasn’t dark at all from the emergency light and pitiful blinds. Reception was closed when we arrived at 5pm, and we had to call the facility so we could check-in. Doubtful we’ll be staying here again.
