Pool area too small, resulting in no availability for using when there are 10 + people in the area. Staff at coffee shop were lacking customer service skills. I was only guest waiting but said they would be with me shortly, while both ladies stocked. When a crowd showed up, they took my order. However, forgot my order while providing breakfast items to the other guests who came after me. When I asked if my oatmeal was ready, they said sorry, spaced it. Lastly, on site sit down restaurant wasn't good. Ordered the haddock and the trout, for $30+ each and it came with just the fish. No side items, no salad.

This is a new hotel in the area. We were in for business from California. We didn’t want to stay in the new retail areas and wanted to kind of be away from the hustle and bustle. Besides most of the hotels in those areas didn’t have the amenities that the Polaris offered. There are three restaurants in the hotel and all three have a diverse menu. The food in each restaurant is very good. The housekeeping staff is very professional and attentive to your needs. We had a very good stay for the seven days we were there. If you are associated with the AFA it’s right across the atreet

Beautiful hotel. The mountain view from our room was incredible and we even got see a bear and some deer in the distance. Everything was nearly perfect during our stay and we will most definitely be back. Very clean, helpful friendly staff, lots of food and drink options. Additionally they welcomed our dog with a goodie bag, including a polaris bandana,and had designated potty areas on either side of the building. We hope to be back to utilize the doggie day care that was not yet open during our stay.

Check-in was extremely disappointing and the overall service experience did not meet expectations. I had booked two rooms for June 20 and specifically called at approximately 11:00 a.m. that same day to confirm both reservations and ask about early check-in availability. I was informed that early check-in was not available, which was completely acceptable. However, at no point during that call was I informed there was any issue with my reservation status. When we arrived at approximately 3:30 p.m. to check in, the front desk informed us there was a problem because the hotel was “oversold.” I explained that I had confirmed my reservation only four hours earlier and had completed my due diligence to ensure the rooms would be available. Despite that, we were asked to wait in the lobby bar. No accommodation was initially offered for the inconvenience until I requested a voucher, at which point one was provided. Unfortunately, the service issues continued. At the lobby bar, I ordered a wine and an Old Fashioned. The bartender forgot the wine entirely and served the Old Fashioned with crushed ice, which was unexpected for that cocktail. We later moved to the seating area in front of the TV and ordered nachos. Shortly before we sat down, the waitress had removed an almost full plate of nachos from the previous guests’ table—which in hindsight should have been a warning sign. When our food arrived, the nachos were cold and the chicken quality was extremely poor.
