AC Hotel Cartagena
"Great location. Staff were helpful. Breakfast was okay"
Dña Monse Hotel Spa & Golf
"Although you are warned there are no tea and coffee facilities in your room, this is a big let down to any hotel. Being unable to make a simple cup of coffee or tea on a night or in the morning , was very low standard for this hotel , it’s a very basic need customers and not difficult to provide ."
Hotel Nelva
"Lovely hotel, reasonably priced lunch menu, great pool area with bar and plenty of sunbeds and seating. Well positioned on the edge of the city. Probably a 20 minute walk into town lots of bars , restaurants and shops on the way. Would recommend walking via the Plaza Circular. We used a Bolt to get to the Centro Commercial Nueva Condomina shopping complex which is well worth a visit if the weather is either baking hot or a bit iffy! Some nice places to eat in the evening, we chose a couple of places either side of the cathedral and they’re happy if you’re there for drinks or food. All in all a lovely clean hotel and a great place to stay for a long weekend away from the usual haunts. Be prepared to use your translate/phrase book as it’s very authentic with limited English speakers."

4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Murcia
- Book for the cheapest times: The most budget-friendly time to visit Murcia is during January, February, and December, when hotel prices tend to be lower. For a great value for money experience, it is advisable to stay for at least 2 to 3 days to fully appreciate the city's rich history and culture. During your visit, you can explore key landmarks such as the impressive cathedral, historical monuments, and fascinating museums, as well as enjoy the natural beauty of the surrounding mountains and forests. This way, you can make the most of your trip while sticking to your budget.
- Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: When seeking deals on Murcia hotels, you may discover discounted rates by exploring the DealsOpens in a new window section on Hotels.com. For urgent travel plans, you could find attractive last-minute options by checking the Last-Minute Deals section. Moreover, using the Smart Shopping tool on the app allows travellers to compare hotel prices and amenities, ensuring you're more likely to see competitive offers when rooms become available or rates drop. Stay informed by enabling alerts on Hotels.com to secure a timely booking.
- Be flexible with dates: Prices may fluctuate depending on various factors, including the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year. Therefore, being flexible with your travel dates could help you find a more competitive rate for your stay in a hotel in Murcia. For those seeking something a bit different, boutique hotels can provide a more personalised experience and potentially better value. When you make a booking through Hotels.com, we will inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price appears to be on the higher side, we may suggest more affordable dates to assist you in discovering a better deal.
- Consider your location: Hotels situated near the city centre generally tend to be more expensive, but thanks to Murcia's excellent public transport connections, you may discover a more affordable independent hotel a bit further out that remains well connected. For those wishing to explore alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there is often great value for money to be found. Opting for these alternative locations may provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
