Stayed here last weekend and the experience was rough from the start. The lobby was locked even during the day, so check‑in happened through a window. I was given a key and told my room number verbally—nothing written, no receipt, no paperwork since I booked through Hotels.com. They also charged a $60 security deposit immediately instead of placing a hold.
The room had a comfortable bed and a nice headboard, but that’s where the positives ended. No hangers, the double lock didn’t work, and the heavy room doors slam loudly every time someone enters or leaves. The parking lot felt sketchy. The TV didn’t work until maintenance came to fix it.
I’d already seen reviews about delayed deposit refunds (7–10 days), so I contacted Hotels.com. They escalated it and called the hotel, but the property still wouldn’t provide any written confirmation. Only after that call did my deposit finally post the next day.
Overall: you get what you pay for, but the locked lobby, lack of transparency, and deposit issues make this a place I wouldn’t choose again.
