There was no coffee in the rooms and a garbage can in the kitchenette area would have been good but everything else was wonderful!

OBSESSED WITH THIS PROPERTY!!!
I booked it without realizing it was on an island so I had no idea what to expect. We were late getting in and didn’t arrive until close to midnight. The owners left a lovely little email with instructions on how to enter the property.
At first impression, we weren’t sure what to expect. We arrived when the town had shut down for the night and it was dark. There was no one to greet us or check us in so we had to take a minute to get situated with where the room was located. It was very dark in the hallway and entrance area leading to our room but once we took the stairs and entered our unit, we were SHOCKED. The SPACE, the AMENITIES, the GAMES and vintage small town feel of our suite was just everything we wanted.
I booked it as a family of 6 traveling with 2 grandparents, 2 parents and 2 small kids. The suite was so spacious, my kids had room to move after being cooped up in a car for hours. We had the space to spread out and not feel like we were all cramped together for another hotel stay. It was nice to have separate rooms.
The hotel feels like a blast from the past while having the amenities you need for today. Nothing feels unintentionally dated. It’s all just beautiful to look at. My kids loved seeing an old tv, an old record player and an old cassette player. We all loved the artwork and the furniture in the suite.
We want to recommend this place to everyone we know and come back for a longer stay!

6/10 Good

Upon arrival to the hotel the outside of the building looked run down and needed a paint job, the porch area was concrete and tile which was cracking and chipping away especially the steps.
This property is a house turned into a hotel so when you walk inside the stairs upstairs are steep.
Our room which we had was #4 it was supposed to be a queen bed-Lake side view, it was a double bed, and 5 windows look at your lake view.
The bed was comfortable and we did get a good nights sleep. We were there Monday thru Wednesday so just noise of guests going into their rooms, otherwise very quiet.
The room looked like it was a converted from porch to a bedroom.
The toilet is right near the vanity so when you sit down your knee hits the corner of it. If you want hot water you have to turn the timer on (which is extremely loud) for instant hot water, which no one told us we figured it out on our own.
There was a refrigerator, glasses, wine glasses, ice bucket, coffee machine, pods, sugar, tea bags & coffee cups. Now there is no ice machine on the property and plastic cups would have been better especially in the bathroom when brushing. our teeth.
The windows look out to the lake were filthy and the screens had so many bugs stuck on them that you couldn't enjoy the view during the day at night it was great.
For the price we paid for this room it should have been more amenities, spotless & luxurious.
