Clayton Hotel Bristol City

Clayton Hotel Bristol City

8/10 Good
"Stylish and modern hotel, clean and tidy during my visit. My greeting by the reception staff was good and explained everything that i needed to know. Room was lovely, clean, comfortable and well maintained. If i was being picky, an extra chair would have been beneficial. Bar and restaurant were fab and the staff attentive. No fault of the hotel but the lack of parking on site means using very expensive local NCP (the hotel did have a discount card to reduce your parking charges, but longer stays are still expensive)."

A stay of at least 2 to 3 days is ideal for exploring the town’s key landmarks, historical sites and cultural attractions, including ruins and temples, as well as its picturesque countryside. This makes Lydney a great budget-friendly option for travellers looking to enjoy an affordable yet culturally rich experience.
  2. Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: At Hotels.com, you may discover special savings when you check the DealsOpens in a new window section for Lydney, and you're more likely to see further reductions in the Last-Minute Deals area as your travel date nears. By enabling email alerts or push notifications, you could find flash sales or price drops. Additionally, the Smart Shopping tool within the app allows you to compare hotel prices and amenities, potentially helping you secure a great last-minute hotel deal.
  3. Be flexible with dates: Prices may vary depending on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and time of year, so having some flexibility with your travel dates could help you find a better deal on your stay in a hotel in Lydney. For those seeking a unique experience, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised touch and can sometimes offer better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we’ll inform you whether the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price appears to be on the higher side, we may suggest alternative dates that could be more affordable.
  4. Consider your location: Opting for accommodation near key attractions or city centres may offer convenience, but it often comes at a higher price. For more budget-friendly options, consider hotels in less central areas or neighbourhoods, striking a balance between cost and accessibility to your intended destinations. You might also look into independent hotels located further afield, which are usually more likely to be affordable and can provide a more authentic experience.
