"This is a no frillls almost excellent hotel. The most important thing, cleanliness was a huge plus. The breakfast was also good. Nothing spectacular, but tasty. The gym is big and they keep it clean The kitchen staff and cleaning staff were extra friendly. Be prepared to carry your own luggage, and bring your own travel steamer or iron. Not a big sacrifice for the service."
Park Hotel

"Clean room"
Haus Smart Living Recife
"Liked: very clean, having a kitchen, good safe location, access to bus and public bike nearby. Nice rooftop terrace and very good prices. Self check in with code via WhatsApp. Drip coffee maker. Disliked: no hair dryer, no frying pan. Pots and pans supplied are very cheap quality. Only 2 pillows on a large bed. Suitable for short stays. I was happy overall even though I really needed a hair dryer!"
Rede Andrade Plaza Recife
"The breakfast was a nice little menu and it was a fresh and hot. There was plenty to eat a variety of cakes, bread, meats, cheeses, egg, sausage, fruit, coffee every staff member that we had interaction with was extremely professional and nice. We had our seven month old baby with us and they had no issues with heating up our water downstairs at the reception area to make his formula. The hotel was old and in need of some repairs, but the staff made things worth the stay. The location was very good and there was some very good restaurants close by and it’s within walking distance of the US consulate. "

4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Recife
- Book for the cheapest times: The most budget-friendly time to visit Recife is during May, June, and August, when hotel prices are typically lower. For a fulfilling experience, it’s advisable to stay for at least 2 to 3 days to fully appreciate the city's remarkable historical and cultural offerings. During your visit, you can explore various attractions such as museums, theatres, churches, and archaeological sites, ensuring great value for money as you immerse yourself in Recife's rich heritage.
- Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: For travellers heading to Recife, Hotels.com may offer attractive hotel deals. Begin by exploring the DealsOpens in a new window or Last-Minute Deals section, where you could find discounted hotel options near your travel date. Additionally, you may receive email alerts and push notifications to stay informed about flash sales and special promotions. The Smart Shopping tool available via the app helps you compare hotel prices and amenities, ensuring you're more likely to spot a favourable offer when rooms become available or prices drop.
- Be flexible with dates: Prices may fluctuate due to various factors, including the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year. Therefore, being flexible with your travel dates could help you find better rates for your stay in a hotel in Recife. If you're in search of something more distinctive, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised experience and may offer greater value. When you book through Hotels.com, we will inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price appears to be on the higher side, we can suggest alternative dates that might help you discover a more favourable rate.
- Consider your location: Opting for accommodation closer to key attractions or city centres may offer added convenience, but it often comes with elevated costs. For more budget-friendly options, consider hotels situated in less central areas or neighbourhoods, allowing you to strike a balance between price and accessibility to the sites you wish to visit. You might also look into independent hotels located further afield, which can provide a more authentic and usually more affordable experience.
