"I’ll be the first to admit, when we initially arrived, I was a little underwhelmed. Looking back, I think the gloomy weather had a lot to do with it because after our first full day, I completely fell in love with this place! First off, THE STAFF!!! Hands down some of the best I have ever experienced, and I’ve been fortunate enough to travel quite a bit! I’m an early riser, usually awake before most of the resort lol, and every single morning I was greeted with the biggest smiles and warmest welcomes. By day TWO, staff already knew our names! How incredible is that?! We had servers who would actually save tables for us because we had built such great relationships with them. They genuinely went above and beyond to make us feel special, and it never felt forced. The Mexican restaurant was hands down my favourite! The food, the atmosphere, the service. SO good! This resort is definitely on the smaller side, but don’t let that fool you. It’s small but MIGHTY! I actually think the size is what makes it so special. You aren’t just another guest walking through the doors. The staff remember you, take the time to chat and genuinely seem to love what they do. We didn’t have Club Level access, and honestly, we still had the BEST time. We never felt like we were missing out. I’ve stayed at bigger, fancier resorts, but this one reminded me that sometimes it’s not about how extravagant a place is. It’s about how the people make you feel while you’re there."
