Apex Waterloo Place Hotel
"Very well located hotel."
Virgin Hotels Edinburgh
"This was our 5th annual 7+ day stay at the hotel. We love the amenities, hotel staff, location, Breakfast Buffet, "Fun" library! Just one bothersome aspect, consistent through the 5 years: The motion-sensor lights in toilet and shower! A night-light would be enough! When one gets up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom, the bright light is jarring and can make it difficult to get back to sleep."
Apex City of Edinburgh Hotel
"first class hotel located ideally for tattoo"
ibis Edinburgh Centre South Bridge - Royal Mile
"The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean …and quiet during the Fringe!"
Market Street Hotel
"It was a pleasant surprise to be offered champagne upon check-in, excellent in room coffee availability with coffee grinder. There were snacks available in the room as well. It was nice to find a miniature gift candle at our door when we came home from the day out because we had requested Green service that day… (No need to come and clean our room). The location worked out well. The sliding wooden “door”to cover the windows gave a complete black out!"
Dalmahoy Hotel & Country Club
"Nice rooms. Old style. Quick check in friendly courteous staff Pool and spa was excellent amd clean. Morning breakfast very good. Bus lust a 5 min walk down the lane direct to city center."
Holiday Inn Edinburgh Zoo by IHG
"Rooms very nice. Staff at checking were quick and helpful. Restaurant in the main floor is huge with lots of food and pretty good prices. Pool change room floors a bit messy but pool was good. Bus to airport stops right out front which was nice too."
Apex Grassmarket Hotel
"Likes: Location Castle views Dislikes: Bed was very hard Feathers... duvet, pillows... Multiple times asking for extra towels only for housekeeping to take them and not replace them. The heat! I understand that old buildings don't have AC but a screen in the door or something could help."
Mount Royal Hotel Edinburgh by The Unlimited Collection
"The hotel is in a great location. Comfortable, clean and great breakfast. The staff were very friendly. Louise on the reception was very informative about the local area and always approachable."

- Be flexible with dates: Prices can fluctuate due to various factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year. Therefore, being flexible with your travel dates may help you find a better deal for your stay at a hotel in Tranent. For those seeking unique accommodations, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised experience and can sometimes offer better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we will inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price appears to be on the higher side, we may suggest alternative dates that could be more affordable to assist you in finding a suitable option.
- Consider your location: Staying closer to major attractions or city centres may offer convenience, but it often comes with higher costs.
