Burleigh Court Hotel

Burleigh Court Hotel

8/10 Good
"Really smart hotel downstairs, reception and bar / restaurant are very nicely done. Rooms seem slightly outdated compared to the hotel itself but pretty good otherwise. No a/c though so it means the rooms are very warm. Shower had a bizarre layout too with water pressure not very strong so it dripped onto a metal shelf below the head. I’d stay again if I were in Loughborough though."

8/10 Good
"I would have given it excellent as the hotel and room were lovely - clean, modern, spacious and comfortable, except we were kept awake all night with a constant banging and rattling from somewhere - room 408. The breakfast luckily we didn’t have to pay extra for was not great - it was cold, overcooked and half the dishes were empty - had to ask for juice and several items - for the look and design of the hotel which was lovely the breakfast really let it down - if we have had to pay extra we definitely would have complained !"

"Great location, nice size room. Kettle on the room, (could do with a few more tea bags and milk cartons). Really Quiet, I thought I'd hear noises but I didn't hear anything. Good dark curtains to keep the light out. Staff allowed me to park and follow a trail that is literally behind the pub. There is a restaurant (I didn't try the food, but I did have a nice beer of the evening)."

The Jubilee Hotel & Conferences

The Jubilee Hotel & Conferences

10/10 Excellent
"Great location, I’ve stayed here many times over the past few years. Hotel offers free car parking. And great views of Jubilee Campus. The Flexi card (to access the room using my phone) didn’t work. So I had to get a physical card. But other than that - a straightforward visit. Sometimes noise from the atrium did echo around the building - but it wasn’t a huge problem"

4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Ashbourne

  1. Book for the cheapest times: Visiting Ashbourne on a budget can be a rewarding experience, especially in January, March, or December when hotel prices may drop to lower prices. For a truly immersive experience, a stay of at least 2 to 3 days is recommended to explore the town's rich history, fascinating landmarks, and cultural attractions such as friendly people, traditional bars, and charming countryside with relaxing gardens. This budget-friendly trip offers great value for money, allowing travellers to delve into the area's historical and cultural treasures while enjoying affordable accommodations.
  2. Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: You may discover attractive savings by exploring the DealsOpens in a new window and Last-Minute Deals sections on Hotels.com when planning your Ashbourne visit. By enabling email alerts or push notifications, you're more likely to see timely flash sales and opportunities, allowing you to secure discounted hotel rooms. Additionally, the Smart Shopping tool on the app may help you compare hotel prices and amenities, ensuring you stay informed and can act quickly when availability or offers change.
  3. Be flexible with dates: Prices may differ depending on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and time of year, so remaining flexible with your dates could help you save on your stay at Ashbourne Hotel. For those seeking distinctive experiences, boutique hotels might provide a more personalised experience and potentially better value. When booking with Hotels.com, we inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average, and if it appears higher, we might suggest more affordable dates to help you find a better deal.
  4. Consider your location: Staying nearer to key attractions or city centres may provide convenience, but it often comes with elevated costs. For more budget-friendly options, consider hotels in less central areas or neighbourhoods, balancing price with accessibility to the places you wish to visit. You might also look into independent hotels located a bit further out, which can offer a more authentic and usually more affordable experience.
