During your visit, you can enjoy relaxing at local bars, dining on great value for money meals, sipping coffee in charming cafés, and exploring the picturesque countryside and islands. Additionally, activities such as fishing and biking provide a wonderful way to soak in the surroundings while mingling with friendly locals.

Additionally, the Smart Shopping feature in the app may assist you in comparing hotel prices and amenities, ensuring you’re informed if prices drop or rooms become available, allowing for a spontaneous getaway when the opportunity arises.
3. Be flexible with dates: Prices can fluctuate depending on various factors, including the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year. Therefore, having some flexibility with your travel dates may help you find a more favourable rate for your stay in a Newport hotel. For those in search of something distinctive, boutique hotels can provide a more personalised experience and, at times, better value. When you make a booking through Hotels.com, we will inform you whether the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price appears to be on the higher side, we may suggest alternative dates that could offer a more economical option.
4. Consider your location: Opting to stay closer to major attractions or city centres may offer greater convenience but usually tends to be more expensive. For more affordable rates, consider hotels in less central areas or neighbourhoods, thus striking a balance between cost and ease of access to your chosen destinations. You might also explore independent hotels situated further afield, which are more likely to be affordable and can provide a more authentic experience.
