Learn more about Tybee Island
Waves lap against five miles of Atlantic beaches where families build sandcastles and surfers catch morning breaks. The historic Tybee Island Light Station stands sentinel, offering panoramic views for those willing to climb its 178 steps. After beach time, wander the fishing pier where locals cast lines and share tales of yesterday's catch. Fresh seafood dominates menus in weathered restaurants where paper napkins and plastic bibs are standard issue. North Beach offers quieter sands while South Beach buzzes with activity. Battery Garland provides a glimpse into coastal defence history. For a perfect evening, grab ice cream and watch the sunset paint the sky over Back River Beach, where dolphins often appear as if scheduled for your entertainment.

Savannah Beach Racquet Club by Tybee Vacation Rentals
"It is on the bay just so people are not expecting the Atlantic Ocean side but we were able to see a lot of dolphins and it was a super quiet beach that was easy to walk. The pool was great and proximity to the beach/bay. The bathroom floor was not in great shape and really needs re-done. Overall it worked well for my son and I."
DeSoto Beach Gardens
"We had a nice stay but the cleanliness of the bathroom was not great. The shower hadn't been turned off completely so there was water in the floor with hair in it. There was mold around the bottom of the shower. We found a large "dust bunny" made if hair and dust and dust in the bedroom floor as well. The bed was good, the kitchen was all we needed and the living area was ok. It just needs a good, thorough cleaning and paint touch up to make it better."
