Garden Court East London
"Check in was nice and quick. The staff not so friendly but very professional. They could use some customer service training and smile a bit. I had a really great room with the view of the pool and the ocean and the garden is beautifully maintained. They skimp on amenities.. no lotion no shampoo/conditioner. I had to ask for more milk, coffee and sugar. They have a minibar in the room but no water in it (rolling my eyes) Breakfast is not the nicest in terms of variety. They only have decaf of offer ridiculous if you ask me. I had fish with savoury rice for supper, it was so delicious so tasty. My time at the poolside was total bliss and the weather didn't disappoint. I extended my stay and the front desk lady was kind enough to let me keep my room. Overall I had an amazing stay!"

For a great value for money experience, it's recommended to stay for at least 3 to 4 days to fully explore the area's key landmarks and cultural sites. During your visit, you can enjoy attractions such as the stunning whitesand beaches, vibrant coral reefs, and thrilling surfing opportunities, as well as historical sites at the bustling port and exciting wildlife experiences at the zoo. With the potential for prices to drop during this period, it's an ideal time for those travelling on a budget.
- Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: For your East London trip, you may discover attractive hotel deals by exploring the DealsOpens in a new window section on Hotels.com, and if you're flexible, you could find exciting offers under the Last-Minute Deals option. By enabling email alerts or push notifications, you're more likely to see flash sales and special promotions. Additionally, the Smart Shopping tool in the Hotels.com app allows you to compare hotel prices and amenities, ensuring you stay informed about available rooms and potential price drops.
- Be flexible with dates: Prices may vary depending on factors such as the hotel’s location, star rating, and time of year. Being flexible with your dates might help you save on your East London hotel stay. For those seeking a distinctive experience, boutique hotels can provide a more personalised touch and sometimes offer better value. When you book with Hotels.com, we will inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average, and if it appears to be on the higher side, we may suggest alternative dates that could offer a more attractive rate.
- Consider your location: Hotels near the city centre usually tend to be more expensive, but thanks to East London's excellent public transport links, you might find a more affordable independent hotel further afield that’s still well connected. For those keen to explore alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby cities, there is often excellent value for money. Opting for these alternative destinations could offer a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
