Novotel Lombok Resort and Villas
"It was lovely, quiet. Peaceful, very relaxing. Food was Ok, could have more options."
Sima Hotel Kuta Lombok
"The rooms are a good size, the sink and shower was full of mould which was unpleasant. When I told management they didn’t offer to change my room. They tried to clean the mould but it didn’t help so I asked again and this time they changed the seals. The staff were amazing, friendly, warm and made the effort to make my stay amazing. Great location in the heart of Kuta"
Batatu Resort - Adults Only
"The accommodation and facilities, along with the very helpful staff was excellent. We stayed at the venue for 5 days in total and can honestly say we would stay there again and again. The roon with its private pool and ouside shower / bathroom was exactly as described. There was a wedding next door to the hotel which was an interesting addition, which although loud celebrations, was something we are unlikely to experience again, and we were also welocomed by the locals with open arms. The venue was around a 10 minute scooter ride from Kuta, but this was not an issue for us, and the venue had a shuttle service for guests. Food was excellent, order everything, including room service requirements via WhatsApp and it us done, easy. We were also very close to the Mandalika Race Circuit, where we managed to ride around on our scooter. We could not ask for more, the staff would help you with anything you wanted, even arranging airport transfers and onwards travel."
Pullman Lombok Merujani Mandalika Beach Resort
"Took the villa, was so spacious and the location was also near the kuta city"
The Konkret Lombok
"The villa is part of a group of villas. It's extremely well located in Kuta town. Still quiet location of the main strip of busy restaurants. Minutes to the beach. We used the mini pool everyday, multiple times as it was a great way to cool off. Great designed property architecture wise and the interior design is very well thought through. Staff very friendly. Breakfast delicious and would recommend."
Origin Lombok
"Hotel Origin was a really great place to stay.We had a couple rooms overlooking the pool which was lovely. The room was spacious and included the shower and toilet.Breakfast is included with a variety of pastries, toast, pancakes,French toast as well as eggs of your choice will be cooked for you.Indonesian food is also available for breakfast such as chicken and rice etc The staff are delightful, so friendly and very accommodating. We would often stop and chat with them during the day .The only negative was after our rooms were cleaned they smelt of body odour which tended to linger ."
El Tropico Boutique Hotel
"10 out of 10"
Somewhere Lombok
"Somewhere was the perfect four night stay at the end of our honeymoon. It’s quite boutique, so peaceful and the panoramic setting is quite unique and special. The architecture, fit and finish is well considered and everything felt curated to perfection. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful and the whole experience felt personal. The curated menu offers just the right variety, as well as being some of the best food we’ve experienced in Indonesia. Compliments to the chef, particularly for the beef rendang, lobster special, vegetable fritters and the tuna open sandwich. The small bar area is a great place to hang out and the cocktails and craft beers are excellent. The head barman, ‘Rakka’ was great and became a friendly face during our stay. The location is over a secluded bay about 15 minutes from the centre of Kuta. The hotel offers a regular shuttle and sorted a scooter rental for us, which was added to the bill. We’re sad to be leaving, but hope to be back. I can see this place becoming a home from home."

For a truly enriching experience, plan to stay for at least 3 to 4 days, which allows ample time to explore significant landmarks and cultural attractions. During your visit, you can enjoy the beautiful beaches, indulge in surfing and fishing, or take leisurely boat rides to witness stunning coral reefs. Additionally, horseback riding along the scenic coastline and soaking in breathtaking sunsets will enhance your stay. This time frame offers great value for money, making it a perfect choice for those on a budget.
- Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To uncover last-minute deals to Kuta, visit the DealsOpens in a new window or Last-Minute Deals sections on Hotels.com, where you may discover discounted hotel rates as your travel date approaches. Additionally, the Smart Shopping feature in the app allows you to compare hotel prices and amenities, making it easier to find the best options. You'll be promptly notified if prices drop or rooms become available, helping you seize your last-minute getaway.
- Be flexible with dates: Prices may fluctuate depending on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year, so having some flexibility with your travel dates could help you find a better deal for your stay in a Kuta hotel. If you’re seeking something a bit different, boutique hotels can provide a more personalised experience and may offer better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we’ll inform you whether the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price is on the higher side, we can suggest alternative dates that may help you save.
- Consider your location: Hotels near the city centre usually tend to be more expensive, but with Kuta’s superb public transport connections, you may discover a more affordable independent hotel located a bit further out that remains well connected. For those keen to explore alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there is often excellent value to be found. Opting for these alternative destinations could provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
