I would’ve gave more stars but there is false advertising with the seasonal pool.. I was staying at the motel during a heatwave and bought a swimsuit just to see the pool had a tadpole pond in it with vegetation growing out of it! The cleaning staff didn’t clean my father’s room.The young lady at the front desk was delightful and gave great service. Also the staff were friendly. However they just need to tighten up the motel and it could be the best in that small town.

Friendly staff , area was convenient…. Bed was comfortable but the metal frame was loud . No snack / vending machine on property so bring them with you , but overall was worth the money for an overnight stay .

This property should be condemned. It was not remotely as pictured when I booked it. The sign outside is broken.So you don't even know if you're in the right place. The bed was comfortable and the room was large, but oddly arranged. It had a smell to it that was unpleasant. I would never recommend that anyone stay here until it is renovated.

The room was clean although the tub could of been a bit cleaner. The heater worked, the hot water worked well. The bed linen was also clean. The microwave was clean. The mini fridge could of been a but colder but did the job. The TV remote worked properly and all the lamps worked. Overall i had all the necessities i needed and had a comfortable stay. I would stay again if i had too. Staff was also friendly and assisted with my needs

I’ll start with the positives because I always try to be fair. The location of Haven Inn in Louisburg is super convenient for Seby Jones Performing Arts. Also, the front desk girl who helped reactivate my key card in the morning when we got locked out was genuinely nice and helpful. Now… The photos online are a little… optimistic. You can tell they attempted a renovation at some point, but the renovation team fell way short. The floors are bubbling, separating, and growing things in the in between. Listen—I am not fancy at all. I’m the kind of traveler who just wants a clean place to sleep and a decent shower. But the bathtub was rough. There was mildew halfway up the tub and the shower curtain had clearly seen some things. Shower skipped for us. For three people, we had one towel and two wash rags, a used roll of toilet paper, and a collection of used mystery, mismatched lotion/conditioner/shampoo bottles. When I asked for more towels, they told me they had to wait for the other cleaning lady to finish washing some. The towels we eventually saw looked like they had served faithfully for about a decade and the mini fridge looked like it had rolled out of the back of someone’s pickup truck and was trying its best. No bugs (we hope) (and no refunds) so we stayed. 😂 And no, I didn't complain - I got the hint with the "All Sales Final, No Refunds" sign at check-in. My suggestion- book an Airbnb early. Sorry Haven, I kinda feel bad leaving a less than par review.

This property seems to be undergoing a renovation. I was given a very large and comfortable room. It was very clean, except for a somewhat soiled couch. The pool area was completely overgrown and unusable, but that was not something I needed. I’m hoping to find things updated if I were to visit again.

Hotel is falling into disrepair. Baseboards were not in good shape. The ice and vending machine room I passed by was taped off. The room smelled like smoke despite there being warnings that it is a non-smoking facility. Rooms are not cleaned daily. Microwave had old food inside of it. Closet had no hangers. Few towels in the room. No tissue/kleenex in the room. There was a coffee machine in the room but no supplies. Would not recommend staying here.

Basically it was somewhere to sleep. But I didn’t realize it was used for people to live there which is fine. People go through things. But I had to put towels at the bottom of my door to keep marijuana smell out of my room. It was really strong. And throughout the. It was walkout and talking all night. I guess that’s just the way it is there.but never again.

Hmm, it’s a former Days Inn that looks like it may be under renovation but is currently in a very sad state of affairs. I believe people may use the upstairs as their home as there are random people hanging out upstairs and in the hallway throughout the day. Found two dead cockroaches upon check-in and was met with another active cockroach while getting ready in the bathroom the next morning. The refrigerator was covered in fingerprints and dirt. The couch was appalling- covered in stains and did not want to be anywhere near it. The A/C worked but provided a nice, dusty air- not the best for allergies. Needless to say, we checked out after one night. Good more- the staff were very friendly and one carried my door dash groceries to the room for me. Says there is a pool but looks nightmarish. Good luck if you opt to stay here

Mattress pad plus one sheet per bed. One blanket and a bed cover. Not sure why there wasn’t a second sheet on the bed. I suppose they were counting the mattress pad as a bottom sheet. A few other minor items, but for a one night stay it was ok.
