Coast 67 Boutique Hotel

Coast 67 Boutique Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"We have just enjoyed the most wonderful holiday in Sri Lanka which was made by the beautiful hotel and fabulous staff at Coast 67 in Ahangama. A stunning setting with gorgeous, quality wooden fixtures and fittings. We stayed for 9 nights which is unusual at this time of year and settled into the rhythm of the hotel very quickly. The staff make Coast 67 the most very special of places. Kind, caring, attentive calm and funny. They are a brilliant team and big thanks go to the chefs who adapted the menu for me. Coast 67 is a must."

"As a Sri Lankan living abroad who has travelled to many countries, this was a rare and memorable find in Sri Lanka. We had an excellent stay at this beautiful, eco-friendly hotel. It is in a fantastic location, within walking distance of Mirissa Beach, and the property is exceptionally well maintained. The staff were warm, friendly, and always happy to accommodate our requests. A particularly nice touch was being personally greeted by the owners during breakfast, which made us feel genuinely welcome. 4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Matara

  1. Book for the cheapest times: The most affordable time to visit Matara is during June, September, and October, when hotel prices are lower. Visitors can enjoy the stunning beaches, visit ancient temples, and explore historical monuments. With friendly locals and delightful dining options, Matara offers great value for money, making it an ideal destination for those looking to explore while on a budget.
  2. Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: You may discover attractive Matara hotel deals by visiting the DealsOpens in a new window section on Hotels.com. For last-minute opportunities, check the Last-Minute Deals area, where discounted last-minute rates close to your travel date may be available. Additionally, enabling email alerts or push notifications could ensure you are informed about flash sales and special promotions. With the Smart Shopping tool available via the app, travellers can compare hotel prices and amenities, so if rooms become available or prices drop, you're more likely to see an opportunity to book a last-minute getaway.
  3. Be flexible with dates: Prices may fluctuate based on various factors, including the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year. Therefore, being flexible with your travel dates could help you find a better deal for your stay in a hotel in Matara. For those seeking a unique experience, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised touch and may offer good value. When you book through Hotels.com, we’ll inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price is on the higher end, we may suggest alternative dates that could be more affordable, assisting you in your search for a potentially better deal.
  4. Consider your location: Staying nearer to key attractions or city centres may provide convenience, but it often comes with higher costs. For more budget-friendly options, you might consider hotels in less central areas or neighbourhoods, striking a balance between price and accessibility to the places you intend to visit. You could also look into independent hotels located further out, which are usually more likely to be affordable and can offer a more authentic experience.
