The room was clean, had an ok city and port view. The bed was very comfortable and the AC worked well to keep the room at a nice temperature. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of local and international options. Just outside the hotel there's a tram stop that takes you to the centre in 10 minutes . On the other hand the room was a little bit small but manageable and the shower tends to leak every time it's used

The good stuff: Good location for Helsinki centre with it being only a 5 minute cycle/15 minutes walk. Breakfast was lovely and great value for the money paid. All staff are polite and some were helpful. The sauna is lovely but I would expect that in a Finnish hotel. Needs Improvement: The hotel has little to no character and is very sterile in it is overall feel. The rooms are on the small side and not really a place to spend any significant time in other than when you are sleeping and while that may be what some people want from a hotel for the money you pay it simply isn't good enough. The mini bar is overpriced and there was no price list provided except on the interactive menu on the TV. Everything in the hotel is designed to get money out of you and little is offered as complimentary which I would expect given the price point, an example being the umbrellas which cost €25 for 2 days. Unfortunately the roof top pool is more fish tank size than pool sized which is incredibly disappointing. Overall: Given the choice I wouldn't stay here again and I wouldn't recommend it anyone, but if you like a sterile feeling and paying extra for almost everything then it might be for you.

The shower and bed were top notch. I wish my shower worked that well at home. Lol. When I told front desk that I needed a taxi to the airport at 4am he actually reserved me a taxi and told me the price I would pay for the ride and then he said he would get me some breakfast before I left. A couple of hours later ten minutes before 4am I saw this decent breakfast spread in the lobby (something far better than I could make). I quickly got a coffee and yogurt. I easily could have eaten more things there. That's the kind of service that's exceptional and if I'm back in Helsinki I will be staying at this hotel again. Thank you for your excellent service.

Amazing hotel. Some much choice for breakfast. Tram stop is directly opposite the hotel entrance. Scooters for hire also available just outside the hotel. Everything is very central and near the cruise port if you are taking a cruise after your hotel stay
