It's certainly an older, outdated hotel, but is our favorite to stay at in Vancouver -- you can't beat the price and location: what a great area! Rooms are always clean, you get a full kitchen, and a view of the beach!

Very dated hotel. Taps were barely held on. Quite clean. Old carpet no renovations done. Kitchenette was very dated and only 1 burner worked on the oven. Happy to have a nice size fridge. Fairly well stocked. Nothing fancy. Was clean and beds were alright. Was nice they had a heater and fans. Great location!

I like this hotel. I go in the off-season and enjoy the west end and staying near my kids's place around the corner. The building is quirky and old, and the elevator is haunted (I swear it). It's a foody's paradise in almost every direction from the hotel.

The location was superb. Close to the beach and lots of food venues and restaurants in easy walking distance. The hotel itself is a bit tired but the bed was comfortable and it was reasonably priced so it met our needs.
