2/10 Poor

Unhelpful Receptionist ( the older lady receptioni
Reception - not helpful at all, especially a receptionist whom is an older woman. Upon check-in, I was attended by a younger lady receptionist and when I asked her for a local electricity plug ( because I forgot to bring my own multi global plug), she tried to help but I saw she was told by an older lady receptionist that they do not provide that ( I cannot really hear what was the conversation between them but I coild see from that older lady receptionist facial expression, very unhelpful. The younger lady receptionist came back to me and apologetically told me they do not have it. Then she made anither afford to search for it and she found one for me. Next day, I asked a male receptionist if he can help me booked transport from Sapporo to Toya Kanko hotel, as I am not able to converse in Japanese. That same older lady receptionist waliked over to the male receptionist and said something to him in Japanese. After that, tbe male receptionist told me sorry they cannot help and then he walked away. The same older lady receptionist took over and told me sorry they cannot help, jnstead she told me to call myself....even though I have explained to her the booking of transportation operator speaks only Japanese which I could not undestand....she insisted a "no no no, with a 'fake' smiling on her face. Very disappointed. As a foreign guest, I do not feel at home in this hotel, instead I receive no help even for small help to speak Japanese for booking a mere transportation for me.

Hotel with great view of Nakajima Park.
Check-in was quick with the staff polite, friendly and competent. I received free bath salts for each night I was staying. The room was well laid out with a spectacular view of the park through a floor to ceiling window.

Very nice hotel in top position
Within its class 5 stars. The best is the park in front. Fantastic views. Although a bit dated ,the rooms are bigger than regular Japanese hotel rooms. Wifi was fast, TV without any international programs. Very quiet . I would come back .Just a nice place. Reception staff tried a lot to do it right although they hardly spoke any other language tthan japanese.

Comfortable place to base Sapporo sightseeing
A little bit difficult to find as it's located behind the train station exit qnd not too easy to spot as you get off the station. There a few convenience stores close by but not much establishments around. It's quiet though as it seems to be mostly a residential area. It seems to be an older hotel but the lobby is ery nice nd grand. The single room is a bit larger than what you usually get in Japan but well maintained. I had a smoking room but it did not have that lingering cigarette smell from years of having smokers stay in it.

Nice hotel.
Quite nice... not that close to public transportation though. If you gonna rent a car, it's a wonderful place to stay because parking is free. old but clean.

Perfect! Highly Recommended!
The room is well furnished, maintained and cleaned! Although it's not huge, it's cozy and comfortable. Excellent stay, especially for this room rate! The only problem is it's far from Sapporo station but subway station is only 5 min walk. Highly recommend!

Location convenient, helpful staff.
Close to Nakajima Koen station Exit #1. 2-3min walk. Although early check-in wasn't possible, they accepted our luggage and put it in our room when it was ready. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Small and cozy
A comfortable place to relax. It's in a very quiet neighborhood with little to see or do. A good or a bad thing depending on your lifestyle. It's close to the station, about a 5-minute walk. Room was comfortable and the bed felt very soft. The carpet was a little dirty as a small stain was present through all 3 nights I stayed. Staff were friendly and helpful. I mainly spoke Japanese so I can't comment on their English ability. Overall, a nice place with a great view.

Good hotel
Stayed at the Hotel Lifort Sapporo for a night and was pleased with the room we got. Located near Nakajima Koen and its subway area, it allowed us the freedom to go to and from the hotel to downtown Sapporo area. The view was great also! We had a clear view of the park and the area was quiet.

The hotel allowed me an early check in, which is much appreciated. The room overlooked the park. Nice environment and walking distance from train station.

by a beautiful park
The room was average-sized for a Japanese room. Since I didn't make a request, I was unfortunately not on the park view side. The bed was actually fairly hard, and the breakfast was fairly standard for hotels. The park across the street was beautiful.
