Hotel Saurlach Post - unfriendly to non german spk
The customer service was horrible. Definitely noticed the difference between treatment to English speakers verses German speakers by front desk lady. There was only one young man that helped us check in in the night that was friendly. When we initially called to say we were checking in late… the woman that answered the phone .. same as at the front desk at check out, told us we did not have a reservation. When we showed up anyway we did. We had requested the room with breakfast on line therefore went to the buffet . In front of everyone the attendant interupted our breakfast and insisted our rooms did not get breakfast. They charged us 20 eur. Each . They wanted us to stop eating an pay. Although on their own website same tbreakfast is included . At the end we needed to book a second night because if travel plan changes.
At the counter they tried to charge us way more than on line with and would not include breakfast. We were told to go to a Germsn only website and book the extra night . Tried to get help from the lady at the front desk .. same one once again... Was told she will not help after she told us to go to the website. After she took up almost an hour of our time .and we paid the rooms off before check out time . She delayed our going upstairs to get our belongings.. she then ..charged us 10 EU more for not being downstairs again by 11pm. We are Airline crews and have stayed many places all over the world. Have never had to give a review like like this.
