Great city to explore. The tramline and funicular are a must, but you need to buy cards for each and top them up. Plenty of museums and sites to explore. Restaurants are good value for local food, so long as you stay clear of the tourist trap ones.

A very friendly city going through some tough times with the peaceful protests (that I saw) against the current government.

I moved to Georgia from Texas in 2021. As big cities go, Tbilisi is certainly one of my favorites in the 114 countries I have visited. However, I prefer life in smaller cities like Kutaisi or Batumi, my new home. Each city shines in different ways
"The location is excellent — right in the city centre with easy access to all parts of the city. The room is larger than most of the other twin bedrooms we’ve stayed in before. It was clean and well-equipped with all the necessary facilities. Given these conditions, we found the price reasonable and good value for money.
What made our stay even better was the kind staff member, Sabina. Our flight was delayed for a few days, and we encountered some other issues as well. She patiently helped us by calling the airline’s local office and speaking with them on our behalf to resolve the problems.
We had a very good experience staying here and would highly recommend it!"
"Great location in Tbilisi on a nice street with lots of shops and restaurants close by. We stayed here while in town getting married, and couldn’t have picked a better place to stay. The staff was very helpful and friendly, couldn’t recommend this place highly enough. Will return the next time we’re in town."
"The location of the hotel is perfect, tucked just 30 seconds away from the Freedom square which makes it quiet but very central and walking distance to all the attractions. The rooms are very very spacious especially for a standard room, very clean and it has a safe and fridge and kettle too plus there is a free water dispenser at every floor plus free different coffee types refills bean to cup in the lobby. I know some people complaining about the open concept of having the water basin in the room and separate shower room and separate toilet but didn't bother us as a couple. I guess if you are comfortable enough to share a room with your fellow traveler then you should be able to accept having the basin in the room in my opinion. Staff is friendly and helpful and everyone speaks English everywhere."
