"We got a spacious family room in the first floor with natural light and views of the mountain across the valley. Unfortunately, it was not sound proof and one could hear music from the hotel bar until around midnight. Good breakfast w several options. We enjoyed the proximity to the slopes, the indoor pool and the bowling alley. Dinner at the hotel was good, specially the service. "

"Great hotel, colorful with a nice decoration and a garden right on the lake. A great place to stop for a night ot two if you are on your way to/from Oslo and you want a peacful place. The room is cozy and simple, good value for what we paid. There is also a glamping option in the hotel which looked super nice.
We also ate dinner in the hotel’s restaurant and really enjoyed it. Really sorry we could not stay more than one night cause this was a true relaxation. Recommended!"

"Great room except view was a wall. Had everything we could need along w/icebox & stove. Shower was so small you had to turn sideways to get in! Food was expensive in dining area. $50 for nachos & a club sandwich. Nice stay but expensive"

"It was our third time in this hotel. I guess that says a lot. The hotel is really beautiful, clean and all in all very "fresh". The breakfast is very nice as well. There will definitely be a fourth time as well! 🙂"

Staff needs more training they obviously did not have much experience or training in informing customers. On several occasions their lack of information made the stay cumbersome. Usually hotel and restaurant staff takes their time with the customers to make the stay as good as possible. These did not. They were however friendly when asked.
Also, scary ice just outside the entrance door. "
