"Very quiet and comfortable beds.
Nice breakfast.. I ordered a coffee as wanted a latte that wasnt included. It was no trouble and made at the bar.. delicious.
The hotel is very clean with nice toiletries and tastefully decorated throughout.

"Had a really good stay for our wedding anniversary the room was very clean and the spa facilities were really good. The stay was sort of spoilt though by a member of the bar staff called Henry who basically just ignored me at the bar after waiting to be served and just started serving someone else before me. Just thought it was a mistake but then did exactly the same thing to my wife when she went the bar. The member of staff in question needs retraining as when I asked him it would be best next time to ask who was next he just gave a sarcastic reply. Apart from that the stay was good. "
"We stayed for one night, arriving after 9pm. Check-in was quick and efficient. We had a pleasant stay in a family room with very comfortable beds. Although we didn’t use the dining facilities, we were greeted by the aroma of delicious food upon arrival. The free car park is a great feature, and the hotel’s location is peaceful and lovely. "The hotel was lovely, Clean, warm and friendly. I ate in one evening and the food was excellent. Served promptly, hot and plentiful. My experience with the hotel was very good but my experience with hotels.com not good at all. I booked a pay on arrival at the hotel but 3 days beforehand the fee was taken from my bank account to pay a hotel with the same name, but 250 miles away. This led to my bank account being blocked and me being stranded away on holiday without access to my funds. The hotel are trying to help in this but it us the booking company at fault - and so far they have done absolutely nothing to help!"
"Easy access via key code. Room was small but ideal for an overnight stay. It was clean had an en-suite wallmounted TV and double bed wa comfy. Well locted with short walk to all amenities."
"Reasonably priced. Lovely large room, clean and comfortable. Shame there is a charge to use the spa when staying if not booked direct with the hotel. Good continental breakfast buffet and a served hot option. Would recommend this hotel, but book it direct."

"Yet another great stay at the Castle. Rooms always warm and clean but if you want operating theatre cleanliness this is perhaps not the place for you! We love this place for its character and of course the peacocks. Staff always friendly and helpful. See you again in a few weeks!"
