"The dinner buffet has so many delicious options and such high quality food that you should make it a priority to eat there. The hotel is definitely of the era in which it was built but I think that adds charm. The hotel does provide a free shuttle bus to the sapporo train station. If I come back to sapporo I highly expect to stay there again."

"This hotel is wonderful. Friendly staff and a fantastic range of pools in the onsen. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the bef feels like a cloud. Breakfast is a bit manic with other desperate guests, and not a wide western option - but great quality."

Piano play at night during the week was actually one of the highlights just sitting and listening to live play for an hour. . The only disappointment we have was the limited choices of food/restaurants available; there was only one or two restaurants that were open & the prices were ridiculous. Most of the guests ended up going across the road to Seico & 711 to buy microwave meals. We would consider coming back if the food situation improves."

"Beautiful property and hotel with amazing views all around. The staff was wonderful with great hospitality. Very good breakfast on site as well which I recommend adding to your stay as it’s far to the main town to get breakfast.
Only small criticism is the WiFi was substandard for a property with so much focus on the details. Was difficult to connect to and stay connected to."

Good varieties buffet choices. Receptionists and butlers are welcoming and helpful.
We loved the valet skiing services. The staff are so accommodating and helpful.
Overall we all enjoyed our stay very much. We will keep coming back.

"Nice stay if you're driving, little bit away from the main town means easy parking. 2nd street across the street if you're into op shop hunting. Aeon near by. Onsen is great and they even got a swimming

"The customer service at the Vale is one of the best parts. We were especially impressed when the staff arranged a complimentary shuttle for us to our dinner spot due to the unavailability of taxis. Jo, the friendly and helpful driver from Germany, was a friendly driver and great conversationalist!
The spa is one of the best that I've ever been to. Loved how it was also clean, and had long hours.
Rooms are very modern + great views. Loved the in-unit washer/dryer.

"The property is about 50 yards from the ski lift. The room is spacious and well appointed. We had a kitchenette with fridge and microwave as well as flatware. The Onsen is smaller but nice and comfortable / relaxing. "

"The staff at Bliss Lodge were exceptional.
They were super friendly every morning and gave us a lift to the slopes (so we ended up being faster than people staying the the middle of Hirafu). They were also warm and helpful in last minute ad hoc requests which made our stay very smooth and memorable."
