"We had a great stay at the hotel. Very comfortable room. The staff were friendly and extremely accommodating. We had dinner twice in the dining room which was very good. Service by or lovely young waitress made it even more enjoyable. Excellent breakfast. We were extremely lucky with the weather and had some wonderful excursions to the fjords. "

"Great location and superb views from our room and the dining room. Lots of information about the island available in English in the room, the library and the host on check in. Good breakfast. No evening meal available as the chef had run away to sea which meant a twenty mile round trip to eat in the evening. There was also an issue with the front door key not working properly
