Occidental, who they referred us to, would not allow us on the property to make the reservation in person. Melia happily took us in. "The view from the ocean front room was spectacular. The property is nice and the room was clean and bright. Note it is an older hotel but decently maintained.

-Great snorkeling right in front
-$5 5min taxi ride or a 35min walk into town
-Area felt safe

Our favorite restaurants were Oceana for breakfast and Gohan and the Italian for dinner, the buffet worked well for the kids at lunch. "
