hotel I’ve visited! The gardens surrounding the hotel are gorgeous and the food at the restaurant it absolutely delicious! Rooms are spacious with a huge tub to relax in and a firm bed. I would come back in an instant!"

"This was a wonderful haven after my flight was cancelled due to high winds. The bedroom and bathroom were so spacious and service so attentive. Happy memories of eating a delicious breakfast on the lawn in the sunshine then going to the gym, sauna, indoor and outdoor pool!"

"The Savoy Palace is high end and perhaps a bit sterile in places. There are a lot of vast, empty public areas which didn’t entice you to sit down with a drink etc.
On the positive side, the rooftop bar area was a stunning place to sunbathe, swim in the infinity pool and enjoy a drink with amazing views. The pool areas are wonderful with plenty of loungers and

. Loved our stay here, right from the moment we arrived to the time we left, all the staff were fantastic, so friendly and helpful. Attention to detail is incredible and there were so many unexpected lovely touches - welcome cakes and drinks in the room, small gifts with the evening turndown service, water bottles at the front door to take when going out for the day to name but a few.

. We enjoyed the beautiful breakfast buffet, pool bar and facilities across the grand estate.
The pool and tennis court use was a highlight. It was also handy to have the mini bus service on weekdays to go into the centre of Funchal. Great time we will be back! "

room on the top floor which had amazing views and a private balcony with sun loungers.
Included breakfast buffet had a variety of nice food, good start to each day.
Free parking in the hotel.
