"This is a wonderful place to stay. Lots of trails to walk around on the property and they are working hard to completely restore this place. Rooms were comfortable and a really cool mix of past meets present. Would have loved to stay a few more days just to enjoy the grounds more. Breakfast and dinner were awesome!"

"Easy to reach, 5-6 min ride with shuttle from busstop 12 at terminal 4.
Basic small rooms, would have liked a bit more storage, a shelf or/and drawers in the bedside table.
Very clean
Loved the breakfast buffé
Nice lobby with a bar "

"Hotel sits right off the dock at Vaxholm where the ferrys come in, so very conveniently located.. stunning views for all rooms having little balconies.. hotel rooms and hallways charmingly laid out to look like you're on a ship.. breakfast is wonderful and restaurant on street level has excellent local menu.. great leap off place for day trips via ferrys to islands such as Grinda and Svartso (Vaxholm itself can be accessed by car, is much more built up and is much less rustic than those two...

"First visit to Grand Hotel Saltsjöbaden. Location, facilities, room, staff and food was impeccable. We are frequent guests to both Ystad Saltsjöbad and Villa Strandvägen, both exquisite hotels. But after visiting Grand Hotel in Saltsjöbaden, we have a new favourite! Our 40 sq m LUX room had a stunning ocean view, and despite ongoing renovation of the hotel, we could not help falling in love with the views and atmosphere of this old and impressive building. Dinner in the Franska Matsalen was...

"I don't really have any complaints. The location isn't very central, but there's a commuter rail stop less than a 10-minute walk away. The hotel is also located in a retail park, so there are plenty of shops nearby. The room was a decent size for an economy room. The only window in the room is a roof window which might be an issue if you're claustrophobic, but it was nice to get some natural light in. Great breakfast. Black-out curtains were a nice touch."

"Room are a little small for American standards, and there is no fan. But that is pretty standard for hotels in this region. The windows do open though! The bed is comfortable. The rooms are clean. Management is friendly. The free breakfest is good. There is a light rail stop about 3 minutes walking distance from the hotel, and the shopping center next door has a supermarket with affordable prices. There is also an alcohol store, and the hotel has a resturant attached. The local police also...
