"Second time staying at Ka'ana. We loved it again. The road noise has increased some. I hope with The improvements being done that more trees and bushes are planted along the side of the property adjoining the road. Maybe they will also add some more water features lessen the road noise. We love feeling as if you're in the jungle and big truck noise certainly was different hearing it this time. Still had a great time. A wonderful pool

"The staff was AMAZING!! The food was some of the best food I have ever had! We had massages that were great! Enjoyed tubing (& successfully made it over the falls!), rope swing into the river, hiking & night hike. The resort scheduled all our transportation (to/from Belize City) & the ATM tour we did. We stayed 4 nights. In hind sight the only thing we would have done differently was booked a room with A/C. The humidity was brutal in May. "

"Gaia was a wonderful place to enjoy the jungle side of Belize. The staff was very responsive and assisted me with transfer from Belize City and back. There was an extra charge for this service. Check in was a breeze and the rooms are very comfortable. "Such a beautiful property! We saw howler monkeys, spider monkeys (I think, it was not a howler that’s all I know lol) fire beetles glowing in the palm trees, agouti’s, roadrunners, Toucans, all on the property. My kids had so much fun playing in the river and the rope swing. They would have been content not seeing anything else in San Ignacio and just staying there all day. "This is absolutely an idyllic place to stay, we left feeling like family. It's beautiful and so small that all the guests get quite friendly as well. They have many resources and can set up anything you need, and the food and drinks are delicious. You should have a car to stay here as it's a little bit out of Georgeville and a little further from San Ignacio, but I can't imagine staying in town versus this lovely friendly place. The pool
