"First time in Matsue, but fourth time staying in an Onyado Nono property. As with previous stays, shoes off at the entrance, and roll your suitcase wheels over cleaning mats.
Then it's tatami matting throughout the hotel, lovely underfoot.
Great decor, cosy bedroom, and the hot spring bath on the 11th floor is so

"This is probably one of the best experiences that I have had whilst travelling. Don't be misled by the "hostel" designation of this guest house - it is really a boutique, luxury residence in the heart of Daikon Island. First and foremost, the guesthouse owner, who speaks very good English, was very kind and drove me around the whole day. He picked me up from Yonago Airport and brought me to Yuushien Garden, and to lunch and dinner. He also took me on a tour of Sakaiminato and its port, and we...

"Despite the hotel being street across from Izumo’s nightlife hotspot(not as big as you’d imagine, only like a block or two,) it was quiet at night for a good rest.
Only issue we had was the hair dryer in the room. Our’s didn’t work, even with the instruction. But as long as you take the hot spring on 1st floor, you can use Dyson hairdryer there so no problem."

"The facilities and services are great.
Big main Onsen Bath, along with great souvenirs shop & free wine/sake offer to hotel guesses between 5-6pm.
Staffs are very polite and fluent in English.
Happy with the stay. We enjoy very much.

"The hotel is right in front of the Yonago station with easy access to shops, restaurants, and public transportation. The room was very clean with a nice bed and a great special pillow. The coin-op laundry room was great for backpackers. I appreciate the hotel's conscious engagement with environment friendly services. "

"It was worth the effort to get here as we could have easily based ourselves in Yonago. The hotel is lovely and the view from our ocean view room was spectacular. The ocean is very clean to swim in. Breakfast was excellent and we dined in the restaurant one evening which was a hilarious experience for us navigating the menu with Google translate and the online ordering system. The menu was diverse and the food good.
We look forward to returning."
