Three nights in Seoul
I booked three nights in a double room. The beds are so comfortable. The room size was good. The staff in the hotel were kind and helpful. They stored our bags for a few hours before we could check in. The location is perfect for getting around Seoul, a short walk to the metro.

Great Stay
I had a one night stay at the Koreana Hotel. I enjoyed it. Excellent location. The room was very spacious. It is a bit older but high quality and well-maintained. The bed was extremely comfortable. Check in was quick. The gym was very good and had a lot of equipment. The buffet breakfast was good and very reasonably priced. I also had dinner in one of the restaurants on the second floor - Gwanghamun Hansang. The Korean food was excellent as was the service. Very reseanably priced, too. I will stay here again when I am back in Seoul.

Good hotel in a good area.
Staff could have been friendlier but the rest of the stay was great. Good smart TV. Fridge. Excellent bathroom with bidet. Great large bed. Good view from the window. Was not great that the roof is owned by another bar so you cannot go to the top without reservation for photos. Convenience store next door. Has breakfast as an option good but not worth the price for daily meals. Close to sites.

Koreans hotel Seoul Korea
We got a room with bunk beds for 4 of us. First, bathroom were really smelly from body odor scent. It got my daughter’s attention right away. They didn’t even want to take a shower. We found two bugs in one of the bed. Room was fine and having 120v and 240v was great. Location was good for sight seeing and restaurant around was ok. Got breakfast in our package, one was American breakfast and other was Korean gookbap which was pretty tasty. Would recommend getting with the package. Would not recommend for the price. Give it a 2.5 star rating

Don’t bother
The only positive aspect of this hotel is its location. The room was smelly and dirty, with mold covering the bathroom. The breakfast was a complete waste of money. Early check-in came with an additional charge, and even requesting an extra blanket cost 24,000 won per day. I would never stay here again.

Location is good, but...
I stayed at Koreana Hotel for the first time in 2015. The rooms were outdated, old furniture, frayed carpets and so on. In the meantime they have renovated it, but it's still not as good as it should be. The standard rooms are ok, but the bathroom needs a total makeover. The premium rooms are better, new bathrooms, but the sinks are still too low and you get back pain trying to wash your hands. The towels are old and they still don't have any rooms with showers, just (small) bath tubs. It's such a pity that they do not want to modernise it properly. On the other hand, the location is outstanding. So they get enough tourists anyway.

Very nice clean comfortable hotel in an excellent location. Comfortable beds, plenty of space, and nice and quiet in the room. We had the inclusive Korean/American breakfast package. For a long stay, or if you're in a hurry in the morning, I wouldn't recommend this option. The Korean breakfast was tasty, fresh and satisfying, but it took 20 minutes to arrive each morning after we'd ordered, and was the same every day. The buffet (10,000 extra per person) was also fresh and tasty, though not at the standard or with the variety of major international hotel chains. I'd stay here again if coming back to Seoul.
